The company is owned and operated by Jesse Hunt and Brian Hunt, who plans to continue providing the family tradition of excellence in the construction field. Where it All Started
Hunt Contractors, based out of Edna, TX, was founded by William W. and Evelyn Hunt nearly 60 years ago in order to provide quality oilfield services to the South Texas area. James and Jesse Hunt were the second generation owners and managers of HCL and expanded the company into Texas Department of Transportation work. Currently, the co-owners are Jesse and Brian Hunt. As the third generation has taken over operations, HCL has expanded the company and innovated its operations. In 2012, Brian expanded Hunt Contractors to the Permian Basin and opened an additional office and yard in Midland, TX.
